No need to apologize, you simply misunderstood me

And I should have been more clear. I was suggesting that in his situation, where he already has lots of miles on the car and presumably considering trading for something else that's new(er) with a warranty, that his higher mileage is not necessarily a reason to sell the car. If it's been well maintained, and relatively problem free as he stated, it might be a good idea to hang on to it and continue to enjoy racking up the miles while saving the higher early year's depreciation and taxes again.

Higher mileage absolutely decreases resale value, and with his preference to keep and desire to mod it in the future I think if finances allow that he'll be miles ahead dollar-wise to keep the car he loves. Whether the cost of the extended warranty is worth it in his case is harder to say.

Own it out of warranty. It's a few model years in so it's not as buggy as first production of the generation. Since you love the car so much you'll probably regret getting rid of it over a warranty expiration. If something major goes sometimes you can rebuild instead of replace, which obviously mitigates cost. It's a dodge not a Koenigsegg. .002.

PS I sold my Lamborghini Gallardo for the same reason that you're contemplating. I kept in touch with the successor owner who has had little issue with it. It's one that I wish I had kept.

    Who here sells extended warranties?
I have the 10 year powertrain warranty as my car was an R28/29 car.

Also, if the factory bumper to bumper expired, can I still buy the extended bumper to bumper or is it too late?

You can still buy it, you MIGHT (I've never seen it happen) have to do a pre-inspection depending on how expired you are. I bought an extended warranty for my 13' SRT Charger in 2017 (Max Care B2B) and had no pre-inspection.

Thanks. I am just under 3 months expired I believe. I forgot about it actually.

Can someone PM me to give me a quote?

Someone here sells warranties for a good price, PM me if they don't or someone doesn't name them. I know a good place to buy them for dirt cheap.
