You said more than something. You said the Gen II Viper was the black sheep of all the generations because of it lacking a side exit exhaust. Maybe after that comment a history lesson was in order. If you don't think the V is a reborn II absent the side pipes, you're just being disingenuous. You're welcome.

I hope no one is taking this serious enough to actually get pissed Of course people can compare a vette or any other 2 seat sports car to a viper. That’s the general group of cars called sports cars. 2 seat, 2 doors, big brakes, high power, etc. thanks for the key chain offer but you can find those at any gas station/ truck stop in America so we’re probably all good.

I don't think anyone is "pissed" either. Soundkillr is ignorant and funny...that's about it. The funniest thing about his ridiculous argument is, stating the Gen 3/4 Viper looks like the Vette. Interesting...that Viper body style came out in 03...the C6 Vette came out in 05. If they actually did look alike...who is copying who? As funny as that was, his "people in the know" comment was even more entertaining.

Soundkillr, thank you for providing laughs and entertainment!

I really like driving my Gen IV...sometimes more than the Gen V. I have the Arrow PCM so there is no throttle lag, and the burble is back when you let off the gas. It is a vert so that has its upside as well.

Glad I could make you laugh. "people in the know" are car guys who understand style. Doesn't make me ignorant. I could just as easily claim you're pissed because you drive a car often confused for a vette. It doesn't really matter to me who copied who, or who says what, just pointing out what I've heard in the past. Corvette Keychain for you?

I will take a Corvette Keychain. I have my first 2019 ZR1 Delivery. I will be picking up at the Corvette Museum in August....

That was the best year it looked just like a Miata that year with ultra black sheepish one side exhaust and one rear exhaust! Super rare! I’ll take one if you ever get one on trade Bill

I really loved the stealth technology it came with. I could drive a warp speed and never get pulled over because I could turn on the cloaking device. That, and I could sneak into the women's locker room without a problem at all. Invisibility really should be standard on all cars.

With what you have mentioned and what can be viewed by those two pics, I'd say anywhere from $53K-$58K.

How do you not realize you are strengthening my point. I do agree that the GenV is a modernized version of the GenII. That being said the ONE MAJOR DIFFERENCE (visually) is the side exit exhaust. Apparently Chrysler had a similar opinion as I do now. If they thought the GenI, III & IV were a mistake with exhaust why would they have altered the reborn again GenV?

Hello, my apologies if there was confusion. My car has 6,700 miles on it and I just invested a lot into it. My car is not for sale. I was trying to help JasonSSG establish a value if his car.

Exactly the right question. Unfortunately, no, so his forum ads have been removed and he's been advised of the circumstances and our guidelines. Membership does have its privileges.

Thanks so much City .......... folks love the free advice , but do not want to pay to play! We have a society where many feel entitled today, and this is a pretty open Forum compared to many, but Members do get benefits and SpongeBob Free Ads need to be taken down. Too many are taking advantage of the Club's kind nature without joining up, and there is no doubt most get way more than the membership fee in just advice and friendly help ,alone.

I feel like the GenII GTS is the black sheep of Viper's. A Viper needs to have a side exit exhaust in my opinion. I think if you find a sub 10,000 mile clean GenIV for under $55K you have found a killer deal. If it is an outside of the box color, under $60K is a killer deal! I bought my GenIV two years ago. I was lucky enough to get the color I wanted, at the time I would only buy SSG or VVO. My car had $1,846 miles on it and I paid $62,500. I felt like I got a phenomenal deal. I even had to ship it across this country so I more or less paid $64,000 to get it home.
I totally agree on the rear-exit, which is why I converted my Gen 2 to side pipes. Best mod I've done to it!
