Just watched a show about the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels on the History Channel. The toy maker was having some shop make a full sized working model of the latest Hot Wheel design to show at SEMA. To start with they pulled in an unbodied GEN 5 Viper. The plan was to add twin turbos to make a 1000 hp. I can't say I'm a fan of the new cars design but it was interesting that they are using Viper guts to build it. There must be a part two to this show as they didn't get too far on the full sized car.
