    Blackstone Diff Report

Doesn't look like the best report. Car was broken in as per guidelines with 8 track days of use so far. I've installed a diff cooler as well. No audible indications of any issues at this point. Should I consider any preventative action?

Interesting, 8 track days total, how many track days between the first sample July 2017 and May 2018?
Are you using the factory fill fluids and modifier?

Question asked: "Are you using the factory fill fluids and modifier?"".

REMINDER...if he is using "factory fill fluids" in his Gen V differential, NO friction modifier is necessary (or recommended) as it is already mixed into the Gen V fluid.

Whenever I change my diff fluid, it always comes out dark as hell, very dirty and I change it often.

8 track days seems a bit long to go with the same diff oil. I would go no more than 4 but each track and driving style will also dictate the interval. I would also utilize the recommended factory fluid latest revision level.

Only 3 days on the sample between July 2017 and May 2018. Had it changed to start this season. Using the factory fill fluids. I've done two days since the May change.

From my experience, unless its under a warranty, just keep running it. Unless it starts to get noisy or binds up, or you can see lots of heavy metal in the fluid. Just run it.

One the race cars, we send the rear ends out to be gone through every season. Some need work, some just need seals.

    Ok thanks, that's helpful.
