    P0118 P0113 codes

Just put in a new battery on a 97 GTS, did the pcm reset, relearn, etc, and I cannot get rid of these codes. Put a new temp sensor in as well. Car also likes to die after the new battery. It will start, hold idle for maybe 10 sec and then slowly die out. Any ideas on these issues?

" Put a new temp sensor in as well."....which sensor....Intake air temp or coolant. What led you to change sensor? Whichever/whatever, you might recheck connection...possibly use some Mopar electrical connector cleaner, and check pins for damage.

Have you tried to clear codes with a code reader?

Are you SURE that the new battery is good and fully charged ?? I have seen more than one early/immediate failure on a new battery. I now do not leave the store without testing voltage and CCA.

Interesting that you are getting codes for both temp circuits.

As for as idle goes....have you looked into cleaning/changing air filters? What is status of idle air controller and throttle bodies/blades?

If you have no specific findings...you might consider unplugging each of he three PCM plugs, then reconnect them...and try again.

So much for my "guesses of the day".
