Met a cool dude at the local cars and coffee earlier this month- I haven't been in a while and I just waxed the Viper so I figured Id swing by. He has a brand new Lamborghini Aventador SV (among a TON of other exotics). We got to chatting and you know how car guys get. Instant friends. His son went with us and he has the purple McLaren. He had one of his secretaries track me down on facebook and he invited me and my wife to go to the unveiling of the new Lamborghini Urus in Orlando. What an amazing evening! It's always great to make new friends- and especially ones in this unique circle. There was probably 300 people at the dealership. The dealer is Rolls Royce, Bentley, and Lamborghini. The shock value was amazing. I had to keep myself from buzzing from car to car with excitement (my wife too).

One of the most incredible things about owning a Viper is the access to people it has given me. There is no way I would have ever met Dick Winkles, Ralph Gilles, tons of amazing Viper owners- or these Exotic car owners and going to this event- without owning a Viper. I love this car.






I didn't realize how huge Rolls Royce's are in person. They are really big cars!

Its People with these kind of cars that I roll with in England, my Gen II Viper is 18yrs old now but I still get asked to attend meets with these cars. My friend Andy has a Green 675LT, it was funny we were doing some sprint demonstrations on a closed road course,after doing the demo runs Andy came up to me, leaned into the Viper and said "that's not a car, that's an Event!"

I have been invited out this Sunday lunchtime to a Supercar meet at 'Sheesh' in Chelmsford,. Essex.


No doubt about it, a Viper of any generation is super cool. Very rare you will ever see a Corvette at these events, they don't get invited.

It was an amazing time. I had no idea how HUGE those RR's are. They have umbrellas that come out of the doors! Full size umbrellas! $1800 umbrellas! LOL
