Limited number of DSE carbon closeout panels now available

A very limited number of Gen III and IV closeout panels are now available at a discounted price. Only one standard panel without clear and several ram air with clear coat (minor imperfections visible upon very close inspection).

Can be purchased at the website and please contact with questions. This will probably be the last run of these.

Dammit..... Where were these when I just had everything apart a few weeks ago. By the way... Thank you very much Doug! The intake heat shield, compression limiters and catch can were absolutely perfect and made my install seamless. You are the man!

Prices on the website reflect the $100 and $210 discount. A few left. stealth - you’re welcome (this is an easy install and requires nothing else to come apart if you’re interested)

    Thanks
    Doug

Not making more? WANT! What's the advantage of ram air from hood vs non ram air? Thinking ram air version but unsure.

Ram air will feed the intake so probably a bit more power with cooler air at speed. The standard one will do more for coolant / oil temps on track because it forces more air through the radiator.

I do have a few with worse clear and some that have been sanded if anyone doesn’t care about appearance or wants to paint them another color. These would have a further discount, contact me if you’re interested. .

Your website says "some gen3" for the fitment... how do we know which "some"?

Based on build tolerance the Gen III hood may contact the panel where the ducts are at their lowest point. Some have put felt tape on the hood to prevent rubbing. There is no way of knowing before you fit it.

I'll take a sanded standard for gen3 (and a set of window bosses). How do I order?

The easiest way is for you to purchase both through my website, I'll refund the difference and combine shipping.

    Thanks

    Doug,

I received the parts today. I must say I was extremely surprised by the quality and finish of this supposedly blemished part. I have seen new CF parts that didn’t look nearly as good as this.

Anybody who is on the fence about this needs to jump off and get one. You will only regret it later when they are gone forever...

    Thanks Doug!
