    Radio Delete Plate?

Everything I've read on Gen2 ACR points out it removed the A/C and a Radio to save weight (however most seem to have them). I assume the ACR had some sort of radio delete plate? Does anyone know where I can get one? or have a method for creating one? Thanks

There were actually very few ACRs that came with the radio delete plate. For example only 8 in 2002. I have a delete plate for my old 02 ACR in storeage somewhere. Unfortunately I dont plan on going to the storeage anytime soon. I'll try to remember to look for it next time Im out.

    -Plexiglass
    -Block of wood
    -Carbon fiber wrap
    -Viper decal
    -Adhesive
-2 screws (Use old radio bracket ones)

The guy I bought it from put an aftermarket unit in, it didn't work, he hacked up all the wiring and the oem amp was removed...so since it's an ACR and they didn't come with radios I figure this was a good time to change it back...I actually bought a stock alpine radio, just need the amp - so some day - but in the mean time this looks better than what I had when I got it

Virtually all ACRs came with radios and A/C .....the notation above is correct as the radio-A/C delete combo was done only a few times each year the Gen II ACR was built. We only ordered one during that period and it was a solid black ACR that surprisingly went to Arizona. Last heard it went South to Australia and was likely a track car.

Right, a huge percentage of the ACRs optioned to have the A/C and radio put back in for a cost. I guess without it - it could be considered the ACR hardcore package.. Sorta of like what they did for the gen4 ones
