By the way, if anyone wants to buy all this stuff to make their ACR a LOT quieter, please PM me an offer before I put it away in storage.

Arizona, I sent you a PM with a question about your 9 liter. Did you receive it?

This is the company that makes almost every mounting plate you'll find in a race car- http://www.plantedtechnology.com
They don't make a Gen 5 kit yet. You need a plate like this, then the side brackets as well which are 2-4 lbs minimum which are sold by the seat manufacturer. And as I said above the sliding/adjustable kits weigh even more.
Through my research, with the lightest seats money can buy you are gonna lose about 25 lbs max. I'm going to go with this seat-
    https://www.recaro-automotive.com/us...pa-carbon.html
It weighs 16.5 lbs, I'm going to do the fixed setup so that will save some weight but I'll still end up at about 30 lbs total vs the 54lbs factory setup. You wont be able to get much lighter than that. If you are a very small man and can get the medium seats, that will save another pound. For road racing this weight is not as important as elsewhere as it is down low and near center of the car.
Rather than a Planted bracket, you can weld in new anchor points (with proper reinforcement) for the side brackets to bolt to. It’s much lighter than the bracket route.

The glass is so thin it wouldn't help much. Everything is extremely light on this car. The side windows and regulator guts weighed a TOTAL of 4 lbs.
Carbon fiber sway bars would save about 25 lbs.

I'll look into this, the Nasa rule book is massive, but if it would pass their tech and save weight i'll do it obviously.
