Stuck in Race Mode and Stability control light on

    **SOLVED**

2014 GTS with ~6,200 miles on it.

I just received my Viper last week, went on my first real drive the other day and was driving down the interstate when I suddenly had to hit the brakes and slow down quickly because a semi cut me off. While hitting the brakes, I also hit the horn.
Just after that, the airbag light came on, stability light came on, and the car went into race mode. Frustrated and confused, I went back home and disconnected the battery for about 2 hours, the airbag light cleared, but the other two issues are still present!! Anyone heard of this happening?! I also held the cables together for 20 seconds, that did nothing.
I've barely had this car a week, I'm so disappointed! I bought it out of state from a Dodge dealer.
I saw where one other person had a bad shock. I'm really hoping that's not my case and that it might be something else, because I know that wont be freaking covered under warranty.
Going to my dealer this afternoon, but any insight you guys might have would be great.

    Thanks,

    -Darin

My '14 did that. It was some accelerometer module under the transmission tunnel. Had it fixed under warranty.

My stability control light came on once in my GTS after a spirited run. I shut her down and had to restart a few times and then it cleared itself. Try that before trying a dealer.

I feel ya.. I just got my car and had the passenger window regulator go out while taking a friend out in it. Been in the car less than 10 times. My SRT8 challenger never had a hick-up since 2008.. I've gotta just get used to the fact these cars have some "issues" and just try enjoy the overall experience. Hope you get it sorted out man

    Sorry to hear that Chris!
I tried several restarts and it was still stuck.
Just left the dealership. Issue was similar to Catwoods, they had to recalibrate my accelerometer. Apparently all that is tied into the same system.
