    Had to happen eventually

Yep, actual rain drops on my supercharged '06 coupe. Downpour was heavy enough at one stage that I had to turn my wipers on. Shame to see such a killer ride totaled. Guess I'll just part it out now ;-)

I just drove mine 700 miles from Buffalo to Charlotte. That was the first time I ever had to use the windshield wipers. : (

Such a shame to lose a viper that way. I'll give you $100 for it.

I actually took the wiper blades off my car. Cleans up the lines so much!

Mine got a sprinkle on her when I dropped her off at the dealer on Monday. They even called to see if I wanted to reschedule! How thoughtfull! Guess I finally got a chnce to make sure the wipers work...and rain mode.

Bummer, this is sympathy card worthy. I'm reading this thinking I don't even know if my wipers work!

I knew you all would understand! I had to pull over to find the switch ... I knew it had to be there somewhere. I'm not suggesting the trauma is completely forgotten by me or the car, but it is resting comfortably under cover in the garage. Two hours of cleaning TLC post-tragedy was good for our relationship.

I remember the first time my Viper got rained on. It was at the Chrysler Technology Center parking lot during VOI #1. Mine, along with about 180 others. Probably 1/4 of them didn't know how to deploy the folding top.

It was a good car... Will be remembered.
My wife asked if I was going to drive it the other day. 30% chance of rain... ARE YOU INSANE?!?!?!?! LOL

Drive it with a good chance of rain - What kind of question is that?! I'm sure your wife is a lovely lady, and this was simply a learning moment for her. Stay dry ...
