Cool Looking for a Stryker Purple ACR

If any of you Stryker Purple ACR owners are interested in selling your cars (or could be enticed) let me know, thanks!

    Cheers,
    Chris

Well, I don't know.... I'm not driving my car as much as I want due to some weird chemo side effects, but the price that I'd let it go would probably be high. Aside from just about every option that I could get, the car has full SunTek ultimate wrap, ceramic coat on top of the SunTek, and it's a super low mileage car. I'm about to buy a 23 acre chunk of nice land in Silicon Valley, so I might need money, but between what it cost me to get the car, the taxes, registration, and the upgrades, I'm definitely not going to do a fire sale. That, and this car has sentimental value - I spec'd it out while I was in a chemo chair and trying to give myself something to look forward to when I finally got my hair back and could stand up on my own. It is a super cool car - definitely one of a kind.Delivery 2.jpg

Last time I saw a Stryker Purple like Martin’s (but not his car specifically) it didn’t look so good after an off track excursion. It’s definitely a good looking color combo.

After having an OTE with my Gen IV GTS Blue and Black ACR, I'm being super careful with this one. I think I know which car you're talking about and it made me sad to see it smashed up. One really negative thing about the Stryker colors is that if you mess them up in a wreck, there's probably no way other than to send back to Prefix to get it fixed. That's why I put the full wrap on mine - even a stone chip would be very painful. That said, the Stryker purple is absolutely awesome in person. They did a great job with that one.

Living 35 minutes from Silicon Valley, 23 acre, can't imagine your ACR-E will put much of dent in that purchase. Kidding aside, sorry to hear of the health setback. Really love the color combo. Saw one at the track once without stripes and no photo seem to do justice to the color. The ACR stripes does great job in breaking up the purple and finishes it off nicely.

No point selling when you talk about it like that.

Props to you brother on the cancer battle. Look at those 6 guys in the pics with their eyeballs popping out of their skulls, that says it all!

Sorry to hear about the side effects. Hope everything works out. You should keep the car if you can.

Have to be more than 10 as there were at least that many if not more at the Viper plant last August at the closing ceremony.

I like the base ACR's. The result of mating a TA2.0 with an Extreme ACR. D@mn sexy!

I tallied up as many Stryker Purple cars as I could find a while back, and I think there are around 15 of them. My car had a doppelganger that unfortunately had a bad track experience, so I think mine is the only one left with the true ACR stripe package, and I'm 99.9% sure that it's the only one with the Brass Monkey wheels in that color scheme. It's definitely a color that attracts a crowd wherever it goes - it's a deep candy-like color that really pops in the sun. You can see the red and blue flakes in the paint when the sun hits it just right. Definitely glad I had the whole thing wrapped... People can't seem to control themselves when it comes to running their hands over the paint - it's so smooth that I'm constantly seeing people feeling up the car and it would drive me crazy if they were scratching up the clear coat.

I'm not going to sell the car - the side effects of cancer treatment are bothering the heck out of me, but it's nothing serious. In fact, I'm probably being a complete pussy about it. I blasted right through chemo without any major issues, but I've got this lingering neuropathy that affects my hands and feet, and it sometimes messes up my fine motor coordination. I describe it to people as driving around with your hands and feet feeling like they're just waking up from frost-bite - not much feeling other than numbness and prickly tingling. It's getting better little by little, but it still bugs the crap out of me at times.

To Martin, I don't see how you can sell the car. It is symbolic of a personal victory and should always stay in your garage if at all possible. It is also one of the best looking Gen V's ever.

To the OP, good luck. These cars are becoming harder and harder to come by with each passing day. And if you're looking for a Stryker color (someone else was recently looking for one as well), you may be waiting awhile for the right car. They are beautiful though, so it would definitely be worth the wait once you catch one.

That's nice looking. Is the stripe Stryker Green? At the last minute, I wanted to swap my order to change the stripe color to Stryker Red, but that was right around the time where orders were getting cancelled for not being finalized, so I stuck with the standard paint.
