Color code for GTSR edition ACR

Hi guys,

Ive been having a hard time finding the color code for the blue stripes on my GTSR. For some odd reason Dodge decided not to put the color code for the stripes on the door and only include the base color code (for the white). I also called the local dealership and cant find it in the system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a GTS blue and also a GTSR blue color, very confusing to use similar naming. I also dont know if the colors changed throughout the years and where to even begin looking. Not sure why Dodge would overlook such a major thing and not print it out on the door sticker.

GTSR Blue is a very dark blue. Your stripes are definitely not GTSR blue. GTS blue is the classic Viper blue. The GTS-R car you have is the inverse color scheme of the Launch edition Gen V's and the Final edition previous gens.

The dark GTS-R Blue is Dodge’s True Blue. Why they decided to have a viper specific name to confuse things IDK. Maybe because they charged more than they did for the same color on a RAM truck. I believe the others here are correct that your blue is the GTS blue

My son wants to paint his room in GTS Blue. If anyone here knows how to get interior wall paint to match that color code, please let me know (brownie points for anyone that can figure out how to get the metallic flakes in the paint)!

Color is not a problem, purchase the touchup paint from, Dodge go to a paint store and they can match the paint color...flakes on the other hand might be an issue. You might be able to add the flakes they use on the yellow and white stripes in the parking lots at stores.

buy dr color chip for touch up paint. But it should be fully clear bra-ed if its a GTS-R IMO....

I had the same issues with yellow with black stripe. Had to dig around to ensure the black stripe was the same as another black viper.

GTS Blue is 343D6 on the Akzo Nobel Colormap, which you can cross-reference with other brands if you take it to a paint supplier.

PPF wouldnt have done anything for my accident unfortunately, should help with stone chips and the like however. Only downside is it kills the clearcoats natural shine, especially on a car with paint as perfect as that of the Viper. All the paint protection films ive seen so far generate their own "orange peel".

Luckily enough, I have an Akzo Nobel distributor up the road from me in West Palm Beach. I spent a ton of time up there pouring through their color books when I was configuring my ACR build. I made friends with the guys and can reach out whenever I need something matched.

I'm with Clay on this one. The Xpel is nearly 4 years old on my car but it shines with a high gloss finish.

I really wish more of the MFG's could offer it, but there is no way it can work with any real volume (i.e. more than a few hundred cars -- even Porsche has a tough time with their PTS program, which offers limited colors and the process is a nightmare).

That said, I also lost a lot of sleep, spent a ton of time sitting at the paint distributor matching colors (there were 8,000 colors and probably 1,000 blues), spent a bunch of money buying pint sizes of mixed paint, painted and striped a bunch of plastic blanks, surveyed all family members and friends, etc., etc. -- Basically, I became a bit neurotic to say the least. But to see the final product roll out of the Woodhouse trailer with neighbors and their kids gathered around was just awesome.

You sound a lot like me in terms of the meticulousness of your research and attention to detail. I'm going through that now with wall paint selection. Spent months trying to find the perfect colors for the house, including the garage. BTW, my wife would LOVE your car. Its the perfect "baby blue" color, not to soft and not to hard.

Hi Scott - would this be the color code I would give to the dealer? When they run my VIN they just say the car is white but I need to find the color code for my GTS Blue stripes.

Update- I believe the color code is SBE for the GTS Blue
