    Fog light switch

    Hello,

I just purchased my first Viper a 1999 RT/10. I can't figure out how to turn on the fog lights. It looks like you can pull the dash headlight switch but if I pull the knob come right off. Is the switch broke or is it located somewhere else?

    Thank so much!

For Gen 1 it was on the console. Not sure if it was the same for Gen 2.

Your switch housing is broken. There's a retaining clip that sticks out from the housing that's missing from yours.

    Ok, thanks.

Switch is broken as ACR_Matt stated. The switch is inexpensive but the"instrument panel bezel" (dash) will need to be removed to access it. Take your time, working delicately, and it's not that bad of a job at all.

The switch is straight out of a Ford Transit van and other ford cars... we swap them for a double pull unit to turn on the rear fogs...
