    Tail of the Dragon Update

May 30 - June 1 Where will you be??

For all you folks with SPRING on your mind. Think Tennessee/North Carolina in late May early June (May 30-June 1). Wake up those cold tires, change the oil and get out on the road. It is time to think TAIL OF THE DRAGON and other assorted roads with lots of twists and turns. Pizza boxes, road side attractions, and assorted beverages may also be on the agenda.

Just got the following information from the Greystone Lodge. If you want a room in the new part of the hotel, ask for the B Building. You still get access underground parking. Parade permit is in hand. Cherokee Grill and the Crystelle Creek Grill are asking for extra beverage services. Special thanks to Tim and Shirley Morrison for all their hard work on this.

The rooms are now blocked out for the Viper Club meeting - May 30 to June 1 - but they will honor room prices for those coming in early IF you ask for the Viper group. Hotel address and number:
Address: 559 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
    Phone: (800) 451-9202

We are meeting with the t-shirt folks to finalize design week after next. If you are coming and want a t-shirt - long or short sleeve - please let us know style, number and the size(s) you want. We can always add more shirts but we can't get them the week of the event.

Oh, by the way, just to let you know, eager to drive folks have already made 10 room reservations - all out of state. It is gonna be great. Is it May yet!!! PM for more info or email joel.hausler@mtsu.edu

Yes, we encourage folks to act responsibly and the Dragon is very tight and can be a dangerous road. We don't want anyone - Viper owner or other - to get hurt. Sometimes exuberance exceeds common sense and our major goal is for folks to have fun and be safe.
