Now whenever I do a oil change on my car I always drop the pan and fully wash it out so its clean and shiney (its also good to check there is nothing nasty in there, and so far so good)!
But what about the rest of the engine? When I do drain my oil its always very black and seems to get black quickly even after replacing the filter and putting in new oil.
I have watched loads of youtube videos of flushing additives you can use to flush an engine, some even using Kerosene!
Do any of you guys do this? Or do you just not worry about it?
I don't see any excessive smoke coming from the rear of the engine but my engine has now done over 84k (over 40k of that has been with me laughing and smiling the whole time Im driving the car)![]()
Is it normal for the oil to be so black changing it at least every 3 to 4k
