    Outside of Oil pan cleaning

Ok Dropped my oil pan off the car on the weekend, cleaned out the inside no problem ,that comes up like new, but the outside just looks dirty.

I Put oven cleaner on it for an hour and scrubbed it in with a stiff brush but that did not make much difference.

Don't get me wrong its not oily, even if I use a can of brake cleaner spray on it no grime comes off, but the pan just looks dirty.

All I can think of is getting it soda blasted sealing everything up first. so the inside stays untouched.

Any tips of what would brighten it up?

    Thanks.

Get A/C coil cleaner. Will look like new.
Cleaned a set of aluminum wheels and they came out like new.

Those look like stains....save your time and get it media blasted. But, if you don't powder coat it clear to seal it will get stained again.

The heat cycles on this raw aluminum are what make it hard to keep pristine....pores open up, capture stains, then close back up as it cools and the cycle repeats over and over.
