    Finally

Here she is. Purchased her 2 weeks ago and picked her up last week. Just posting now cause all the excitement of a dream coming true. With all the research and help from this forum, I can now execute my build list I created. High priorities are the oil cooler lines, paint correction, ceramic coating, and rock guards.
Still can't believe it. I gotta get used to being looked at and approached like I'm some celebrity. Lol.

Congrats, looks clean! Great color choice. They didn’t make many red SRT’s that year.

Good color choice. Everyone knows red is the fastest color.

I don’t know about red being the fastest, but it sure is sexy! Don’t let the other lesser car drivers on the road egg you on to doing anything crazy! Take your time enjoying and learning your new rocket!

110% the truth. Just about every Mustang, Camaro, and Charger/Challenger you come across are going to want to race you with the high hopes of saying they beat a Viper. Ignore that crap.

Definitely agree with this!! These 'modern' muscle cars I find generally aren't too bad, it's the kids in their souped up fast & furious wanna be imports that give me the most grief.

Thank you everyone for the kind words.

Just got back from treating my queen out to wine tasting and a gourmet dinner in the Viper on her special day. I was even flagged down by a valet at a fancy hotel to park right in front. Right next to a Porsche Cayman. Made the Cayman look like prey next to the Viper. Lol.

I have no problem ignoring those that may egg me on. I've seen the prices on Pirelli Corsas. Lol.

That's me too. This car is sure a thing of beauty. It's Still Art or when moving Art In Motion.

Those cars around here are the top choices for them sideshows. I sure won't give them the pleasure.

Get the R28/29 done (if not already). You mentioned the oil cooler lines - yes, mine have been done once already, and the fitting to the block twice! Yours are already seeping?

But most important - ENJOY that thing!
Yup R28 R29 done and confirmed with dealer with other recalls. Powertrain warranty extended as well.
Yes, oil cooler lines seep. A few drops in the garage each time. No use of getting warranty work done if they are still going to use the same faulty part. I'm going with VSP lines. It may void the warranty, but they are going to have to prove the part caused the problem.

Lol. I used to be one of those F&F kids from 1992 until 2005. A mature one though. Lol.
I actually wouldn't mind having another tuner car but I like having something more grown up.

Maybe you mentioned it somewhere, but how many miles on the car?

Glad you are enjoying it! With our (continuing) crappy weather here, and winter that still hangs on, mine has been on the battery tender again in the garage for weeks now!

It had 28,8xx miles when I got it.

Cool. Mine has a tick under 13,000 miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner. Came off the assembly line 4/1/2013 (5 years old now, hard to believe). I bought it in October 2014 with 7200 miles. Driving it still never gets old!
