I'll be leaving from Sheets in Haymarket, VA. early on May 30 (maybe 29) for a long highway run down 81/40 straight to the Dragon. This will be a five day road-trip!! In the past, I've done this trip by running the entire Blue Ridge Parkway with a stopover in Boone, NC. or Blowing Rock. If anyone local is interested in driving their viper to this event let me know. The roads in and around the Smokies are as fun as they get and the many dozens of vipers/owners along with the parade through town make for a really cool time.
I've always found it strange that nobody seems interested in this event. I suppose it's just too far away and too many miles behind the wheel.
