What tire options are there for Gen II ACR wheels? Looking for tires and not having much luck.

Jon @ Parts Rack can still get Michelins for ~$1600 or so last time I looked. There is a thread on it. I currently am running R888 on my ACR. Love them. A bit noisy on the high way but apparently there is a new R888 compound that is less noisy in the R888r. These run a little less ~$1100-1200 for a set.

I was looking at tires the other day and right now there are no Michelins for those who have 18’s all the way around. I did however find a set of Pirelli’s on NTB’s website. Price wasnt too bad. Might be worth looking into.

Im thinking only 3-4 options in 18's. If that. Main reason why I upsized to 18/19. So I could run Michelin PSS

Have you checked BFG? You might have to go to an R compound tire, but they'd fit. As to noisy R888s, it isn't so much the compound that makes noise, it's the tread block design and siping that moan, growl, or whine.

Check the BFG Rival S tires.

Is Michelin still making the PS tires in our sizes, or are the tires at the parts rack old "new" tires?

I am going to be replacing tires on my cobra here in the next couple months. I’m going to pick up some R888r compounds and see how much they differ from the normal R888 compound.

I'm pretty sure JonB does not have 18 in. front PS2's, only 17 inch.
