    Transmission noise after warm up

So I installed a used transmission and filled it with Royal Purple ATF Max. Its a 2001 trans. Everything sounds good in the trans until I drive it about 30 miles or so. After the transmission is warmed up it rattles in every gear. Also, it has a fairly loud vibration at ~5000 rpm whether or not it is warmed. Other than that, it's good. Shifts good and everything. It's just noisy after it's warmed up. Could it be that the fluid is just too thin after it gets warmed up? Should I switch to syncromesh? It still doesn't explain the loud vibration at 5000 rpm. What do you guys think?

When you say in every gear, you are not referring to NGR are you? NGR only happens in Neutral and typically after warmed up.
As far as vibration, I am assuming your mounts are fine.. and everything is tight.

Something is wrong. Not normal. CHECK!
How about a factory recommended fluid fill?
    Mounts? Engine and tranny!

Press clutch when vibrating to check whether it goes away with clutch in.
Something else could (start to) VIBRATE at 5000 rpm too...

P.S.: just saw "used"...that might explain it. Who knows what's going on in there!

So where did the transmission come from? Any guarantee with it?

Not NGR. It will make a rattling sound in 1st-6th after it has been driven awhile.

When I press the clutch in it goes away. I believe the mounts are good. Both are aftermarket. I am going to switch transmission and see if that helps. I didn't have many options and ATF was recommended by other Viper builders.

I bought it off of Facebook. The seller did guarantee it.
