How is the TA 1 0 wing attached from the factory

If I wanted to remove mine to change to a bigger wing does anyone know how it is attached? Will fishing line work if is just fastened with tape?

from the factory it is 100% urethane adhesive, most aftermarket installs use 3m tape.

I have a brand new oem spoiler I cant decide weather to 3m tape or urethane it. I might not install it any tho, so on the fence!

I think you're right. My spoiler was removed to change the rear hatch that had a defect and the shop planned to cut the seal with fish line and reinstall with adhesive tape.

It's adhesive not tape from the factory, I had mine installed with windshield adhesive.

I would think something like a braided dental floss would cut better. Not sure what you use to remove the residue left though without damaging the clear with harsh chemicals.

Rubbing alcohol and a lot of rags...had to reinstall mine after they replaced my rear hatch

I would check with a body shop to see how they would remove the wing attached with urethane adhesive. They might have an adhesive remover that would remove the residue.

I will be selling once I find a replacement. I know they sell on eBay for like $2300 new, so I’m open to offers on my used one. It is in great condition with no damage.

    This stuff works great- https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...eywords=3M+VHB
You might want to contact Xtreme Supercars and see what they use on their aftermarket spoilers.
