    Not My President

The title of my latest fiction book is a little misleading. It's not about saying President Trump isn't my president.

It's a fictional account of a billionaire developer from California who finds himself elected as the President...and then what happens when senior military leaders are afraid he will order a nuclear strike against North Korea.

Because of previous security clearances I have to have all books reviewed by the government for a prepublication review. That has never been a problem in the past. The agency(ies) have normally approved my manuscripts in 4 – 6 weeks. This one has drawn the attention of several agencies although my agency will not tell me who the other agencies are??

They have had this manuscript now for 113 days. I know they want some changes but they haven’t shared those with me yet.

If interested you can check out my other books on Amazon.com.

Note: I don't make a living off these books (thank the Lord for that) or I would be broke!

First, How Cool to have a professional fiction writer in the VOA - you never know who you will meet here!

Second, good luck with the clearance. I suspect this topic in this political climate you could be waiting 20x longer than normal :-(

Too bad you didn’t write about a “fictional” scenario in which a previous president that did nothing to prevent North Korea from becoming such a huge international nuclear threat.

Now that would be a good read.

    Good luck with your book!
