It only happens once in a fairly long while. It feels like some sort of vacuum & only lasts for like 1 second. Car is bone stock & runs perfect though, no noise or warning lights of any sort. Anyone experiencing the same?

Where are you on the rev range when upshifting? If you are into the red it may the the revlimiter cut out?
Im sure others will chime in soon.
I don't have enough seat time in this beast or much Viper experience, but my 2014 Mustang GT (modded) would sometimes do this. Drive me crazy trying to figure it out. It turned out to be the traction control cutting power as the tires broke free...usually while some side load, ie the nannies trying to keep you from letting the ass pass you! Mostly getting on it at the end of a freeway ramp for example.
Not sure if it will help, but try turning off the tc and see if it continues. Be carefull of course!

Hmm, I feel this is it but sorta not too. As I mentioned all those times that happened are on my fairly casual shifts. Also if it's really the nannies, then the cut would have kicked in during a handful of times when the rear end got loose a bit but never did once...
What's Traction Control?????
ive never experianced this on any of my gen v vioers... ?
It's happened to me a couple times,on mine it's like the car completely cuts off( even when in giving it more gas), then starts back up, but it happens very fast.
Do you have a code scanner?
Is it possible that what you're feeling is actually electronic throttle delay? Mine (Only V I've driven) has what I call a "hiccup" when you first touch the gas pedal, I think most cars have it now, but in the Viper it feels a bit stronger. If you're coming from a car with instant throttle response, this will drive you crazy. I believe this can be tuned out, but I'm still stock, so I have no proof of this. Is that maybe what you're feeling?
Ya hiccup! That's the word closest to how it feels! I ain't sure rather the cut happens when I'm back on the gas or not after the shift. But I'm 70% sure it's when I'm off the gas, I will pay more attention next time!

Not doable because it's very random & don't happen often!
The easiest way for us to diagnose or understand the issue is to get a video of it.
Easiest way to feel it is to just tap the gas at idle, just a quick blip. You will notice it right away. For shifting, it takes some getting used to, just keep the rpm up and shift quick.
If it's an earlier car 13/14. Maybe your pcm needs to be updated? I thought I read this somewhere in the Gen V section?
Mine has happened while on the gas and driving pretty fast...
