    So, Justin P:

    You email me in a rush for rear rotors. Never a customer. You dont even know what rear brakes you have, so I sort it for you from your pictures. 01ACR with Big Brakes. You are in a rush Thursday to get the car going that very weekend, in SanDiego.

    You ask me for StopTech replacements, DRILLED. (I should have been wary.)

    StopTech is near you, and I can ship ground in 1 day. Cheap. And I even save you the CA sales tax !! You seem delighted. YOU ASK ME FOR A VOA DISCOUNT, and SAY YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER.

    You PROMISE to give me your credit card info in a couple hours, "wallet locked in my truck" you say.

    So here, I GET STUPID: I go ahead and ship you the rotors!! At a discount!! I'm not worried, because I help owners in this scenario all the time. In 21 years Viper owners have a great 'track record' in being honest. One owner in Saudi Arabia actually wired me $5000 months after his MECHANIC stiffed me!!

    You DO call back in 3 hours and and say you'll have the card "Tomorrow". Sounding grateful. You then EMAIL me the card info on Monday: But the card declines. And Declines. And declines for THREE WEEKS. Still declines. Now, You dont return messages. {or the rotors!} And now I find you're not even a club member.

    So, me being STUPID, I worry that you are just away on a trip; at the Olympics? or injured; or in jail?

    Bottom line is: I'M STUPID...... But Are You a THIEF ? JonB@PartsRack.com

    I guess I'm old school where your word is what defines you . It seems there are a few that what they say , and what there money say's are two different things !

    Funny I looked up results for "Justin P" on a database I have access to and it shows contact information for this person's parents. Maybe a call should be made to them . I don't know what the rules are on this forum but if needed, I can provide it.

    I just went through something similar this week. A new customer tried to stiff me for a couple of grand for over 4 months. My credit department called him and when they identified themselves, he told them they had the wrong number. I left him 2 messages myself, no return call. I paid him a personal visit this week and collected half the balance. I am not sure how much trouble and/or expense it would be for you to make a visit, but it made a difference for me. Good luck. I hope you get your money.

    That sucks, but why send anything before even getting paid for it? Regardless of how bad it is needed, or how desperate the individual is, do not ship until funds are received. That being said, I have sent stuff before getting paid, but I am typically sending to friends, or someone I have a relationship it. Otherwise be prepared to eat the loss. Sometimes, even as old as we are, we must re-learn certain lessons. The Viper community is unique because we want to go above and beyond to help our fellow Viper people. It sometimes can get us burnt.

    Hope it gets resolved in your favor Jon, but watch out for the mullet-heads coming into the Viper scene.

    Sure hope it works out but if not I look at it this way, yes it sucks for you Jon but there isn't an over abundance of places to get Viper parts and this guy just burnt the bridge that leads to Parts Rack....that will come back and bite him some day!!

    That’s horrible. Sorry to hear. Sucks when someone takes advantage of situations like this. Ruins it for others that may need this type of assistance and are trustworthy people.

    At least you have a lot of other great relationships here and you’re not the one that screwed someone. People like that don’t make it very far in life.

    Hey now, the earlier vipers were considered modern day muscle cars so lots of older muscle car era guys (like me) have these vipers and most likely there is a few mullets out their.....just saying...it don't make them bad guys.
