Twenty five years ago I visited the New Mack Ave. Viper Plant to see my 1993 Viper. It has an MDH of 0205 but was not ready to be shipped due to a shortage of parts, as seen in the picture. It was delivered to my home on Feb. 26,1993 by Reliable Carriers. The Viper experience has been fantastic. Great people everywhere and I participated in all of the first time events starting with the 1989 auto show, 1991 Indy 500 Prospective Owners Invitational, 1992 Viper production, 1994 VOI #1, 1996 Daytona Rolex 24 Race, along with many visits with Team Viper, etc....... I was there and lived it while it was happening. Priceless!

Great post!! I sat on the sidelines and didn’t pull the trigger till the fall of ‘96 when I got my ‘94

I worked for Chrysler Financial when they launched and saw a number of wild transactions. Plenty of the ‘92’s and ‘93’s selling for 6 figures. The original Gen 1’s stopped traffic!!

After getting my 97, I had a trip to LeMans with Team Oreca and a 6,500 mile one-way meandering trip in the Viper from Boston to Las Vegas for VOI5. I still remember these 2 trips so vividly. The Viper has been a joy and brings out the same visceral emotions today as on day one. I've never felt that way about other cars. What a ride indeed!
