TA 28 33 Stay away from this car

In case your not on the VOA Facebook page I'm posting this up here as well. Just want to make sure this makes it to as many people as it can.
2014 TA 28/33 is dying a slow death.
I made a 6 hour road trip to see this TA knowing full well it was a salvage car.I went with the intent to make a track car out of it. However the seller grossly misrepresented this car on the phone. He made claims the damage was only cosmetic and offers the car at $60k. I made a quick video to share with everyone to make sure someone doesn’t get suckered in to buying it, incase they do cosmetic surgery on it. This TA would take a tremendous amount of work to repair, if it even can be done. It has major frame damage. The “A” pillars are twisted and they are breaking the windshield. The entire front is destroyed, anything in front of the radiator needs to be replaced to say the least. All the wheels are curbed or cracked, passenger rocker is full of bondo. The engine is pushed over to the right about 1/2" or more. Shock tower mounts are bent. I could go on and on but there is no point. If you see this car or VIN: 1C3ADEAZ6EV300028 don’t bother. That really sucks that the seller misrepresented the car to you and you wasted six hours going to see it.

But there is a bright side to this. Here is proof positive that TA values are skyrocketing. This car at $60,000 and if it was a SRT or GTS model it would only be worth $10,000 as it sits.

Going out on a limb here, but I would assume a combination of speed, hard surfaces, and a living organism or two are involved. Natural resources and wildlife are also under consideration but are not suspects at this time.

That's what I was thinking. Transmission alone should be worth $$, along with most of the engine, if running and mostly intact. The seller should just part it out.

No, this is a 2014 TA and the Bondurant TAs were 2016 GTC TA 2.0.

No not a Bondurant car. Those are TA 2.0 or actually GT with a TA 2.0 package

Wonder if it was one of the many Bonerant cars put out to pasture recently...

The clutch on the car is fried so it barely goes into gear. It grinds going from 2-3rd. I didn't even get hard on the gas because the car is so screwed up. When you accelerate the car goes right hard, when you brake the car pulls left hard. So eventually it straightens out! Not many good parts left. The interior would have been ok except the a-hole has been smoking in the car for the last few months since he has been driving it and abusing whats left of it.
