I know that Doug is currently working on a cooler set up, but I decided to build my own. I am not overly concerned about drilling holes in the car. I know some are, but once it's tracked, I don't think the future buyer will care that there is an add on.

I built a very similar set up for my 2008 ACR-X clone so I decided to build it very similar. I found a few different difference between the Gen IV and the Gen V that makes the ACR-X version to not work for the Gen V. First, the belly pan bolt holes on the Gen IV are Welded nut plates and stick down about 1/8". The Gen V actually uses Riv-Nuts and they stick down roughly a 1/16 of an inch. This immediately make the ACR-X design have to change. At least in material thickness and hardware selections. I used thinner aluminum and rivets where items attach to the frame. The second difference is the placement of the NACA duct (for lack of a better description). It is much further back towards the differential. This will reduce the dimension the transmission cooler can be height wise. Not an issue however.

I have not completed the project yet but decided to post progress pictures. I still have to make the braided lines as well as wire the system up. I already have everything, just haven't had enough time to work on the car.

So let's see the progress.

I mounted the Diff Pump in the same location as the X. The rear X Bracing on the frame is actually different than the Gen IV too.

I then made a mounting plate, the fan shroud, dual 4" Blowers and the Setrab cooler all mount to it. It in turn will mount to the bottom of the Tub.

After I got it all done, I drilled and installed riv-nuts in the tub.

Now, all I had to do is drill the mounting plate and bolt the cooler assembly to the tub.
