    Urgent wtb 1 Gen v intake manifold compression limiter

    Might be a long shot, but my engine is at prefix and swapping my Gen 4 heads to 5 heads requiring the oem compression Gen v limiters to be put back in my manifold(currently has dse limiters). I’m missing 1 limiter, does anyone have there old ones I may purchase(or just one )

    Um...last I checked, GEN-IV and GEN-V heads were the same. I think sodium filled exhaust valves might be on the GEN-V...and different valve cover design and attachment obviously, but the basic head I believe is identical. Let me know since I want to be corrected if I'm wrong.

    The heads are machined differently where intake manifold is mounted. When you put a gen 5 intake manifold or a gen 4 you knock out those spacers and install dse ones. Basically I need those old ones.

    Same general port design, but definitely not the same.

    Yeah. Did some reading. Redesigned coolant passageways and takes a left and right head gasket. I think the CFM specs on intake and exhaust haven't changed though. Don't know specifically however.

    What kind of tricks are you up to needed gen V heads on your IV?

    It's getting the stage 2 heads and cam package with a forged bottom end, and being built for boost on top of that(billet mains, double keyed ati dampner, arp hardware, SS piston rings). Being built for upcoming VE supercharger or JMB procharger kit, undecided on boost.
