Not trying to cause any trouble, but this is a kit that I am genuinely considering and reliability/longevity is obviously an important factor in the equation.
    Hi Scott,
The packages are reliable and good long term, there is always a possibility of having an issue with anything made/manufactured.
Brand new cars break down, and some go hundreds of thousands of miles with hardly no issues!!

One thing we found is not all factory fuel pumps are created equal, are they fine for stock power levels. Yes absolutely!
But some put out more than others, due to manufacturing tolerances.
Most pumps have been fine with the HC package, but we have started to find a few cars that do need a pump upgrade.
With the Xtreme package we include a high flow replacement in tank pump, that solves any fuel delivery issue.

The other thing we found is a some valve springs that have lost tension sooner than they should have.
Over time the valve spring takes alot of abuse, being opened closed millions of times over the life of the spring.
The springs checked out fine upon installation.
The springs we used were from a major manufacture/distributor of racing parts, hint they are based in TN.

If you check with NASCAR teams they will actually take brand new valve springs, measure the tension, then put them on a spintron and cycle the shit out of them!
Then they check the spring pressures to see if any lose pressure prematurely.
This is a tedious and expense process, that would significantly add to the price of any engine package.

Sorry to get off track of the thread but just trying to educate and help with answers.
Please get in touch with me if you would like to discuss further.

Whitey - the car looks amazing and even better in person!! The exhaust note is awesome!!

Cordes is probably the most capable shop in town for that- http://cordesperformanceracing.com/
But you'd have to talk to Arrow and see if it's even feasible to buy their cam and have someone else install it and tune it etc.

Scot, thanks for the informative response. I was sold on the HC package and am now beginning to contemplate the 9L (I mean hell, if you have to take the motor out anyway...). Starting to get some real world views from folks running them and so far it sounds amazing. Once I've got a few more miles on the car, I'll make a decision and send her out. Thanks again for the explanation.

It was a pleasure working with you, Mark and Dick. Your laid back demeanor really helped. Not the case with many others. Thanks!!

I have received a few requests for videos. Here are a couple of links to a cold start and an operating temperature idle. The audio isnt that great, but you can pick up the cam lope.
