    Shipping Help not a viper

I purchased something and I need to get it shipped from Bradenton, Florida to Phoenix, Arizona. It's oddly shaped and weighs 120 lbs. I ran it through the FedEx calculator and it comes to $500. I was hoping to pay around half that. I've got it listed on uship.com, but I haven't received any bids yet. Does anybody have any ideas on carriers I can contact to ship it. The item is a golfboard. It's been wrapped up and ready to be shipped.

$500 is a good price. LTL on a pallet thru a common carrier willl cost that much or more

Check with Greyhound. Hard to beat their prices for oversized items. Shipped a hardtop from Atlanta to DC with them once. Just need to get it to the nearest terminal and pick it up at the nearest terminal.

I've shipped entire engines for less than half that. www.yrc.com.

I got it shipped a couple of weeks ago with an independent guy on uship.com. Cost me $250 + fees + insurance. Total was around $350.

    Thanks
