Congrats and welcome! Always remember it isn't a Corvette, it will bite you if you aren't careful. Go to some track events. And have a great time with your local club, there are lots of things to do where you are!

It's always special if it's a Viper! You will see. I had Corvettes too and loved them. I am on my 3rd Viper. They are very different. Have fun! Again, welcome!

Congrats! "Nothing special?" Copperheads are nice cars. Pictures dont really do them justice. You have to see it in persone to appreciate the color. Welcome to the viper ownership experience!

Welcome, and your Snake is special, because:
    1. It's a Viper!
    2. It's a copperhead, love that color!

Not only is the Copperhead a sought after Snake color, it is also the Viper that birthed the lightweight Sidewinder rim. Painted in black , that beautiful rim became the Gen IV ACR rim. Great
Gen III and a color that still stops traffic - enjoy!

Welcome to the group of proud Viper owners. All owners and Vipers are very special. Once you take part in a few events you will realize qualities of the car and people you meet. Enjoy your new car! [QUOTE=Detroit Muscle;31146]P2090324 - Copy.jpg

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm really looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can, and learning more about Viper and the people that own them.

Thanks Slysnake, some days I wish it had black strips, but I can't bring myself to do it.

Not quite like a Viper does! I have owned 6 vettes and 2 Vipers, the Viper does need to be handled gently 'til you know her.

I am a NO stripe owner. All three of my Vipers have been solid colored. You can always add them if you wish! I like the bright colors with out stripes.

Leslie and I wouldn't steer you wrong. We call it being snake bit. Until it happens you don't realize what a true drivers car it is. I lost it on the track and ended up in some weeds. No damage but it will scare the holy crap out of you. No traction control at all. Leslie and I are both converts from Corvette and I don't think either of us would go back.

The beauty of the car you bought is that they are pretty easy to fix and maintain. The Gen 3 and 4 cars are simple and about as raw as a car can come. I don't think you will go back to the Corvette!!!
