There are no secrets
Thanks Yousif for putting up this thread and keeping it updated.
GulfRun has been proven to be the most beautiful track event in our region, and I consider myself lucky to be part of it for the third year now.
My ACR-E is bone stock still .. I'm the kind of a guy who love to keep everything
as is in a car for the track unless I really have to.
I did the same with my 2013 GTS as well, until I added TA 1.0 aero package and arrow PCM.
What I'm worried about in the ACR are Tires and Brakes .. It is really really fast car but that come with a high maintenance cost, at least to my budget.
So far the tires have survived two full track days, that I was not pushing all day long, but glad they are surviving so far, can't say the same for the front brake pads though.
As far as the GulfRun challenger, This will be my setup:
- ACR recommended settings, including (Height, alignment, compression and rebound)
- Wing is still at position "2" and not sure what position will work best on BIC (Bahrain Int. Circuit)
- New Stock Kumho Tires (Heat cycled and ready)
- New Brake pads
I am finalizing three things at the moment:
- DSE intake heat shield installation (Great product as always)
- 6-point TeamTech Harness (undergoing with JonB as we speak)
- Front Tow hook
I will ask around for the 991 GT3RS lap times and get back at you guys.
