    Pranked

I ordered new Dodge coils for my 2000 GTS. Of course original part numbers had been retired and changed but the 6 post numbers don't match and the 4 post doesn't have any. Have you guys seen this before? Wut

I'd bet it's the same location as before. Dodge uses these coils on EVERYTHING, the wire #s probably don't mean shit when installed on a Viper.

I guess I'm just confused if I should hook it up like they were originally and stated in my manual, how the posts state or just not bother with it at all and return them.

To be sure, you can measure the electrical resistance between the input contacts and the posts for the cables. Compare this to the old ones and if same input contact connects to the same post, then connect the cables like they were. Theoretically, they could have changed the internal routing in the coil pack which would lead to a different numbering. But I highly doubt that this is the case.

Please let us know, I am curious to know. Thanks!

Screamin' Demon Coils actually worth it..........or are they good for a little while and then leave you stranded like MSD coils?

Did you buy them to rectify a misfire issue?

I have my intake, valve covers and diffusers at the powder shop. Just doing routine maintenance while I'm down there. Plugs, coils, thermostat and cleaning. Car was running fine before I took it down.

I'm just sending them back. I don't want to do any experimenting with my dyno session with Lesser coming up.

I would suppose that Team Viper just went to the corporate parts bin and grabbed a V6 and I4 coil pack, made a new bracket and let the pcm handle the rest. Snap the wires on per the manual and I bet it works.

No, did a tune up . Coils, wires, plugs. By the way the Mopar ignition wires were numbered wrong as well.

Correct. Caravan 3.3 coil pack and Neon 2.0 coil pack.

What color you getting them powder coated in? I have mine off right now too, thinking of getting them done to match the car. That was my 10 year olds idea

Do it! I was looking to do mopar blue, couldn't nail the color online and didn't want to hate it so I had them go with hacienda red. Basically a lot more vibrant red with wrinkle texture.

That's gonna look good!! IF I can find a yellow that closely matches my car, I'll probably get them done. If not, then I'll probably get them re-done in a red. They're kinda faded.
