I can vouch for Tim. A Fellow Airman that got his hands dirty.

As for your vision story: They used a special drop on you.......I know which one.

Are you still handing these challenge coins out or am I too late and need to wait until next year... just saw this feed... regardless this was a very cool initiative and thanks for the all the support and knowledge.

Ditto on that one....^ I just came across this thread too. I normally stay in the Gen1/2 forum.

This is an amazing gesture Jon, and us Veterans do appreciate your service and your unwavering support of the US Military.

I was/am a 15T20F Blackhawk Flight Engineer "15T" is UH-60 Flight Engineer, "20" level means E-5+, and "F" is for flight status. I say was/am because I'm currently contracting for the Army (on the civilian side) on their MH-60M and MH-47G Helicopters.

20 year old pictures, but still pretty cool.....I think. Cruising over post-civilwar Bosnia.

Here's a pic for you AirForce guys. This is the wreckage of Scott O'Grady's F-16 that was shot down "Behind Enemy Lines" in Bosnia.

Fun times! Thanks again Jon for posting this in support of Veteran's Day 2017.

Haha, yes I think of that every time I see you post. Crazy day for sure, memorable to say the least!

Yes, I am an Air Force Vet as Mike has stated as well

I was a AGE (Aerospace Ground equipment mechanic) 454X1. Loved every minute of it including the day I got out.

Job B, Hi I'm a new member but I'm one of the younger AD Army guys. That's a hell of an awesome gesture for all who've served too.
As for me I've been in a few years and I'm still serving as a 15W UAV Operator. One of them new fancy jobs lol.

CAAP Honoring Veteran's in 2016 with 1 very special Viper

In the spirit of the Holiday's and in Honor of our Veteran's, I thought I would post this special picture of what we were able to do in honor of Veteran's Day in 2016 with 1 very special Viper. I'm sorry I cannot recall the owner's name but they were gracious enough to give permission to the CAAP Team for this photo. I was so proud of and honored to be part of this special group.

The folks in the photo all "served". Thank you Jon B for both your service and your generous gesture with the coins!!!!

    Enjoy!
