Yeah I didn't recognize it. I mean, I did but couldn't pin point anything. That makes sense seeing how custom of a setup it is. Way cool. Way, way cool. I am not that into HK Pistols (am a Glock guy) but love their submachine gun MP5 platform. If I am out in Oklahoma, may we take it for a spin?
You said he has done a few in 7.62 x .39? That's a good idea because that ammo is more readily available and cheaper than the 5.56. Plus, it's a hell of round for knockdown power. I am not sure how it compares to a standard .308 for trajectory, as you can't compare how it shoots out of an AK. But out of a more accurate gun like you have here, I would bet you get great performance out of that round.
Cool build. Thanks for sharing.
I thought about the 7.62x39 but figured I would stick with the 5.56 version. I have my 7.62 can to were it will run on my 47's so I'm covered.
Better yet you can buy one for yourself. AZ is a free state and friendly to class 3 stuff. I know a few dealers out there as well. After dealing with some "clone" guns I won't go that route and will suggest to others to avoid it on the HK platforms. You can get a way better, and to spec firearm from some of the builders out there. Having seen all of the problems and what people have to spend to make them "right". They would have been better off spending the money up front.
I'm kind of old school. 1957 Smith & Wesson "44 Magnum" (before model numbers). 44 mag.jpg

AZ is very friendly for class 3 stuff. Right now my checkbook is not as friendly. So they will have to learn to get along first.
Good looking holster there.
Finally got my LTC here in Texas since they allowed open carry with a license.
I have an enhanced Spikes Tactical AR-15 being made here locally, with optics, foreward grip, light and bipod.

You should keep an eye on Buds Gun Shop. That site has been selling cosmetic "blemished" Adam's Arms full AR15 gas rifles for $629. Adams usually sell for over $1k for the full rifle. Myself and a few buddies of mine have bought over a dozen from them in the last year. These guns run great, and of the three I bought, I can only find a tiny "blemish" on one of mine.
The first year I got my viper this event was on the schedule!! One of our members (a very generous member) hosted a machine gun shoot that started off with the vipers following a police escort through towns; no stopping for red lights; drove us right to the site where we proceeded to shoot unlimited ammo and we blew sh*t up!!! I've never seen so much fire power in one spot just for recreational fun!! That one event was worth every penny I spent on the viper!!

Carried my new Springfield mod II with this holster in small of back position. It did a great job. In fact, before we left my house, my girlfriend asked me which pistol I was gonna bring and if I was gonna carry it in a bag or whatever. She had no idea I had the XD already on me for the last 10 minutes while she got ready. We nailed it on this holster. Couldn't be happier.
Sexy looking AR there.
Thanks for the tip. I wouldn't mind one with a slight packaging scratch in the finish or anything like that. It's gonna end up wih something like that anyway.
Got my Spikes Tactical AR with quite a few appliances on it yesterday. Also purchased a S&W tactical .22 LR. I am on the prowl for a long range tactical Sniper rifle, but still doing some research.

I will get some pics tonight posted.

nice I just ordered a s & w bodyguard 38 as I like a smaller gun to carry what's that like to conceal?
Nothing wrong with a tried and true wheel gun. I also like the hammer-less 38 ( on mine the hammer is fully enclosed, I think when its flush it's called the bodyguard hammer IIRC ) because it can be fired from a pocket or bag or purse. A semi auto can only get one off before the action can't move.
As far as concealment, I have no problem carrying one in my pocket but I wear khaki shorts/cargo shorts a lot. So no problem at all. The cylander will be a bit thicker than say, a really slim .380. But not enough to worry about. You may find it easier to carry small of back. That's where I prefer for my Springfield 9 but it's not as small as a keltech 380 kind of thing.
Spikes AR build, S&W tactical .22 LR, Colt Police 38 revolver, Ruger Super Blackhawk 44, Springfield XDS4.0 45 caliber

Love the .38!
Just purchased a Savage Arms 110ba Stealth Lapua,
