    Carbon fiber diffuser

Can anyone correctly identify this item? Part #68292407aa.

My dealer says it’s carbon fiber. Is it? If so, what model would this have come on?

    Thx

Just another ignorant dealer. That's the black plastic panel that comes on all vipers below ACRE.

No OEM C.F. panel that large woukd be that cheap. Probably closer to $5k...if it existed.

However, i have Agency Power's $1200 CF version. Excellent fit and finish. You do need to modify a bit to get the back up lights perfectly lined up....outside of that no complaints.

If you want to go ACR-look rather than the agency power option This will give you the part numbers/details.

When installing your Agency Power diffuser, did you need to take off your taillight surround?

I'd love to see a full instruction tutorial write up to do just that. It's my next project.

In person they look really impressive. Basically as if it was a factory option. I just can't decide if I look at that part of my car enough to mess with it.

I would advise you to make sure Agency has them in stock!
I gave them a $600.00 deposit to build on for me. I am almost 3 months into this and last week I was unable to get a shipping date. I will let you know when I hear back from them and what the have to say.

I talked with them on Friday. Apparently they have 2 stock based carbon diffusers which came in recently for customers and he stated it would be 14-18 weeks before getting a any more. Maybe one of those is yours. They do have two of the aggressive style diffuser with blades. I'm considering one of those if the deal is good.

Can you link me...? All I see is their OEM replacement (which I assume is on BO as you described). I'd love to have one with the strakes. Thanks!

They don't have a link to that one. You would have to call and have them email you a photo. I was told they don't plan to make any more of these, but have a few left in stock.
