    Basic Limited Warranty

I just received an email about renewing my basic limited warranty before 11/11/2017 and refer to Customer ID:xxxx.
I bought the car new Oct 2016 so this doesn't make sense.

From reading this my basic limited warranty last for three years(not one year).

    Anyone else get these?

Not for this car at least not that I remember but I have for other cars before the Factory Warranty expired. The B to B limited warranty is 3yr or 36,000 miles from date of Purchase for a Viper.

I believe it is slightly cheaper to get the extended warranty in your first year of ownership.

I think thats what its about but the letter is some strong marketing in the way it's worded. It leads you to believe that your coverage is running out on that date.

I get warranty extension calls all the time. 100% of them are spam. I even get them for cars that are 6 years old. Make sure you know who you're dealing with if you ever get a call instead of an email.
