Not even registered makes it more rare. they bought a New car.

Deals are coming out of the woodworks right now in the upper states and Canada where winter is just around the corner. Cash is king right now. Buyers market for sure.

That's a great buy, but I hope not a glimpse into the not so near future.

End of season in a tough resale market, I don't think its that far off. What do you guys think in the height of season in the current market, $48-50k? Not asking price but real selling price.

The car was still on MSO so the buyer will be the original owner. I can't recall seeing a GTS on MSO selling under $54k.

Forgot the MSO, the MSO/first owner does play into it but the car has 3k miles. If the car was low miles (300 or so) with MSO I think your number is good. I may be wrong but its a solid used car, not a new car that sat for years with little use. I guess it comes down to if you value being the "original" owner.

I have been following the Viper market (Gen II) for a while now and can tell you this is not the norm. It seems every couple of years or so I will see a crazy deal like this one happen. It is usually either somebody in a hurry/desperate to sell the car or an uneducated seller that lets the car go super cheap. If you are lucky and in the right place at the right time you get lucky and steal a beautiful Viper. I missed out on a super clean super low mile 2000 Black/Silver ACR for low 40's back before I bought mine. I am surprised one of the big 3 Viper dealers like BJ did not grab this one up and we will see it selling for 10 to 15k more than it sold for. This seemed to be the trend back when I was looking, it was a tough market. That said even if this was the new norm which I can guarantee it probably isn't, that is not too bad when compared to the depreciation on some of the exotics or Corvettes.

If it is still on MSO, does it still come with the full warranty?
