I'm not sure if he is a member on here, but i've sent him a PM (on my coworkers FB no less!) about selling his car.
Name is Chris Driscoll. He has an Orange TA and is in oregon. LOL if its not the same guy, im pretty certain it is. Car has under 5k miles.

Any reason why you sent me a PM stating he will let it go for $97K?

And the ad lists it for 92K OBO. Interesting sales technique, that's probably why it's still for sale.

I don’t know, maybe that’s what he told me. Don’t know the guy, and this was back in June or maybe even earlier. I have shit memory.

Edit: I rechecked my PM's to you and none of them talk about this. I pm'd you about a 2017 Orange Viper which I thought was a TA, from what Paul Normandin had told me. He ordered one close to that color (but it isnt a TA), same wheels and all the TA goodies though.

You mean the Orange TA with 10K on it that Chicago Motor Cars will “let go” for 97K....

  17. #17
Yup... that one!!! They're in it for more than they want to be so there won't be much negotiating with this one.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it'll sit for a while at that price, or even the "let it go" price for that matter. They had a 2014 Yorange a number of months ago with the ActiveTrac (sp?) suspension, Mopar ECU and full headers/exhaust on it. At the time it was something like $85k, but I was told the "bottom dollar, make no money on the deal" number was $82,500. I walked away and low and behold another buddy picked it up for $78k a month or so later. Point being there is no way they got so deep into that car that they NEED to sell it for nearly sticker price minus a $15k coupon that the original owner likely used.

Beautiful car for sure, but not sure it'll move at that price anytime soon.

Running great. Drove it home from Chicago then to Detroit and back for the factory closing.

I may be wrong but that 14 TA was at an auction site so I would think it would go for around the price of 91,990 but not sure how auctions work exactly. 15 TA Yorange are awesome but not sure if enough have sold to establish a used price and 6 months ago is a bit different of a market. I also was under the assumption most people did pay for the 14 TA header orange at msrp as the coupon was released when the 15 MY was debuting? I am under the impression the OTA was very successful which prompted an additional 33 white and black to follow.
