    Adjustable Pedals

    I had a quick question. Are all three pedals adjustable? I don't know why I thought they were. A few weeks after I bought the car I noticed 3 things. The clutch would not adjust, only the accelerator/brake, the adjustment was silent before now had a click-click-click sound to it while moving, and my clutch pedal was bottoming out on something now, as if I am hitting the floor board when fully depressed. When I told the dealership, they said Viper said it was all normal. I call bullshit. Here is also a video by FCA presenting the adjustable pedals. The video shows all three pedals moving yet mentions that only the accelerator and brake move...lol

    yes all are suppose to move when adjusted

    I wish you could adjust them independently. My left leg must be a little shorter than my right...

    i bought the gas pedal extension from IPSCO so it makes the gas pedal more flush with the brake, very good little mod.

    I feel the same way, even tho the clutch pedal moves I am not sold on the engagement point moving with it.

    I agree with this. I felt the engagement point never moved even though the pedal moved. So basically useless. I just adjusted the seat more instead and left the pedals back.

    Someone needs to make the clutch pedal extension, they make them for corvettes and mustangs, why not vipers?

    Yes, there is definitely room for improvement here. I like the seat back further to get a good distance from the steering wheel, but when I move the pedals to compensate I lose the ability to press the clutch to the floor. I hate not touching the floor when I press the clutch because I think it is not fully disengaged (psychological issue of mine).

    The fix for me (and maybe others) may be to build up the floor board under the carpet a bit.

    we need something like this, for the clutch pedal. I may remove mine over the weekend get a grip of whats needed.

    people push the clutch all the way down when shifting? After a while you learn the muscle memory of when the clutch actually connects and you can just go just enough. No need to go that far down. In my stang, the clutch engagement point is close to the depressed position, I dont even push it halfway when shifting. The rest is just uneeded slop

    I made myself one out of aluminum about 1yr ago... think its 1/2" higher and is also formed to stop 1/2" away from the firewall...which
    is where the interlock engages. (I found myself strapped-in the perfect seating position, yet could not start the car w/o doing
    a Mr. Fantastic rubber band move) I'll post a pic tomorrow or Friday.

    Wait so this piece is compatible with gen V pedals as well?

    yup IPSCO said 2008-2014 which means all the way to 2017, fits fine in my 2013 and only took 10 min to install. I did something similar in the mustang but with spacers on the entire gas pedal assembly.

    Great! I'm ordering a shift knob adapter from them as well so can all go in the same package! Heel-toeing has been a nightmare with the stock setup!
