True story today and kind of freaked out

So I put my suit on for business meetings in downtown Denver today, to meet a business colleague downtown for lunch. Now 16th Street Mall downtown Denver can be a weird place these days with the marijuana non-laws, there are a lot of homeless and vagabonds. Really it is like the land of the mutants at times.

Anyway walking to the restaurant, I did notice a rather weird guy walking and talking jibberish, but trying to talk to people. He was a thin young guy about 30 years old, 6 ft tall, longer hair and a trim beard, carrying a backpack. He said something to a younger black lady, I didn't make it out because I was a ways away but she looked at him with a "how did you know, what is going on, fearful" kind of look and walked away from him.

Anyway, I realized I missed the restaurant and it was on the other side of the street so I turned to go back across the street and this young guy is right there standing in front of my face. I looked at him and it was like he was there but not there. He then took his arm, put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Do not buy a Corvette nor a Mustang, you need to buy a Viper", then removed his hand, walked off muttering something quietly then yelling jibberish again. I was so startled I just stood there when he briefly put his hand on my shoulder face to face.

WTF just happened, I had nothing on me to indicate about my cars, was not on the phone talking, wasn't wearing anything to say I liked this brand or that, I was in a suit. Now I have Mustangs at home and a Viper, been thinking of picking up another Saleen Mustang, never considered a Corvette, but have been working my ass off to try to pick up a used Gen V to add to my mini collection.

Honestly, it has thrown my whole day off as I was literally stunned by the whole encounter. I never met this guy before. He stunk BO so bad, I am sure he had not showered for weeks or months. He was just one of those very off bum types we seem to see so much of here in parts of Colorado these days. What has me baffled is that of all the things to say, why that? Why not, have you got change, money or this or that? Why say what, I have literally been pondering in my mind for months? Made the hair stand up on my neck.

Honestly fellows, I am struggling with this encounter and the content, circumstances all afternoon and evening. Anyone experience anything like this before? Just so weird and freaky! Never had an experience like this before in my life.

Wish it was so, and wish I was just making it up for a fun little story, but it is a true story. One of my employees was with me and saw the whole thing. He said, I saw the guy put his hand on your shoulder and start talking cars. I thought he knew you. Like I said, it has kind of tilted my world a little right now. So freaking strange!

It's to bad you weren't thrown for such a loop, you could have asked the lady what he had said to her...

There are some strange people out there with extra abilities. Often they look like the "crazy ones" on the streets but crazy because they know too much. I once had a friend that could see "pictures" in people's heads. Before he passed I was sitting with him once and we were talking but I was "playing a song I liked in my head" that obviously no one could hear. He looked at me and said, "I find it difficult to speak with you while your song is dancing in your head!" You can see that I asked? Well of course he said. Holy shit...Your street encounter can see things....

Dude that's a crazy encounter! I guess that must have been a word that you should heed. Go buy that Gen5.

Well, for all you know, he said the exact same thing to the previous 100 people that he encountered. Perhaps he was a Viper enthusiast who lost his Viper collection in a very nasty divorce and retreated into the alcohol or drug world.

The guy actually works for FCA and has been their only attempt to market the Viper. It's really sad they didn't put more effort into marketing the car!

I'm a realist. Very likely, this guy has seen you around town before, probably in the Viper. They're not all burnt out drug addicts, some of them are pretty damned smart actually, and have a wicked memory. Winnipeg is a big little city too, and people tend to remember certain cars when they see them. I've been rattled a few times too in similar situations, it's a bit eerie.

Well, of course when I am ready for the a Gen V, a used one will be my next car. But that encounter still has rattled me a bit. I can tell you, there is no way this individual saw me or knew of my cars. I have only had the Viper out maybe 6 times the past 18 months as I have been building a new business.

It was just a very weird, freaky encounter. I get deja-vu a lot, and use to sleep walk a lot when I was growing up but nothing every remotely like this. There are aspects I guess we just don't know in this world. No just have to figure out what you do with this info and when.
