How to disable radio from auto turning on during start up?

It turns on in ACC & RUN mode too.

Already looked into the settings & manual. Can't find nothing...

Can't turn it "off". Just turn the volume down to zero.

Volume down to zero and as part of the git-up-go procedure, turn off the screen, blip the gas, select gear and GO..............

I removed the speakers. Problem solved.

How many have had the recent automatic firmware download/upgrade for the entertainment center. The download added a screen-off icon at the bottom.

Is there *any* car where you can default a radio to off on startup? Car radios have defaulted to previous state since like the beginning of car radios. I'm always so confused when this question comes up twice a year. Don't like the radio then turn the volume to 0 one time and never touch the knob again. Problem solved.

Key words=Previous state

The Viper does not go back to previous state if that state was radio off/muted. Software quirk. But not as bad as Audi I had a few years ago. Most cars in the past if you turned it off it stayed off. Not the case anymore I suppose.
