ACR E Front License Plate Bracket...Any ideas?

Just doing some research to see what others have done for their front plate bracket. Not a chance in hell I am drilling my front facia. lol

I looked at Parts Rack and even they dont offer a ACR bracket.

So figured I would see what others have done and get some ideas.

    Thanks!

eat the tickets, or find a rubber backing for the plate and ziptie it to the front crosshair. There is one that mounts to the lower splitter but for the already lower splitter on the ACRE you'd be grinding the plate all the time.

I mounted mine (just to get ticket signed off) to my front tow hook. Used a cable clamp and piece of flat bar aluminum. IMG_3256.jpg

Put some nutserts in the extreme splitter and mount to that. it's low but better than holes in fascia.

Sturdy enough for permanent installation but not pretty. I used stuff I had laying around in the garage. 5/16 galvanized cable clamp that I had to grind to fit my tow hook, and 1/8 thick aluminum flat plate for mount. If I was going to make a permanent mount I would use a stainless steel clamp, and powder coat everything black. IMG_3261.jpg

I am LMFAO at the simplicity of your solution... just awesome! I am going to remember that one.

I did the zip tie thing and scratched the heck out of my paint on the Gen III, but the Grill of the Gen V can be easily modified and only cost $100 to replace...

However, to tie it to the tow ring seems to be the fastest, simplest, and cheapest way to go!

Make sure to wrap your hook with tape. Don't want to scratch it!
    I'm in Pasadena.

Most of us decided no way we are wearing that! You get pulled over tell them the aerodynamics sucked it off!!! Now that Ralph Gillis signed mine last week it's definitely no way!!!

I have a solution designed mounting to my splitter support brackets. It would be completely removable for the track and allow the splitter extension to be installed or not.

It would be somewhat expensive as it's all anodized billet aluminum. Would be about $310 if you just wanted to replace the driver side bracket. Or If you already have my aluminum splitter support brackets it would be a $195 add on. If there's enough interest I can have them made.

Doug, can you start a new thread (or bump your old one) with pics of the mount? I'm interested.
