Hi Guys, just wanted to tell that this topic comes to an end. Last thursday I finaly picked up my car at a friends place who owns a Dodge Dealership in Germany. He and his team helped me with repairing/rebuilding my car.
We used the frame and shell of the donor car and transplanted all the other stuff that was not damaged of my wrecked SRT. I took the opportunity to upgrade a few things like installing 2pc Stoptech rotors.
It were busy months and it took a lot of hours and work to rebuild my car but the result is amazing. The paintwork is magnificent! The body shop that painted the car looked that at the original paint procedures and did it exactly like that. They took off all the bodypanels and painted them seperatly. After that the panels were installed again on the rolling chasis with the greatest care to bodylines and gaps.
A special thank you goes to a few member who helped me tremendously in the entire (re)building proces:
- Michael Scherzberg for supplying and shipping the new 10 spoke wheels
- JonB for supplying the brakes and Michelin tyres
- Doug Shelby for supplying some of his goodies, housing the donor car for a few weeks and put on the wheels and tyres, loading the trunk with a lot of Viper stuff and shipping her out of the USA.
Last but not least Helmut Höllerich and his team from Autohaus Höllerich in Germany for cöordinating the entire rebuild and paint process
In these emotional en difficult times for me it was great to see how many people from this community offered help without knowing me in person. I am very proud to be a member of this family!

Roland - Congrats on getting your Gen3 all pieced together! I missed your story last year when it began - very glad to see it has a happy ending, and now I know where another one of my Slate twins went!
(did you keep the H-spoke wheels from the Slate car?)
Cheers and enjoy!
No I did not keep the H spokes as I don't like the design.
Awesome car! Really like the color. Congrats and now go ahead and enjoy this ride!!!
