GPS lap timers

I use two timers. Harry's Lap timer ( iphone) , and a Performance Box..

Traqmate is one of the better units I suppose.........for near pro-level data acquisition.
Lap-top interface and such. -for scrutinizing later at home or in the paddock.

I have decided to go the new G-Tech RR.
For all practical purposes, does the same stuff as the Traqmate for way less money.

Started out with Harry's Lap Timer and for general lap time info, it does a good job. Now I have the full Traqmate Traqdash system and a transponder. The Traqmate has more info than I know what to do with, but I'm getting better at it. Btw, the Traqmate lap times are within a couple hundredths of the transponder time. I never checked Harry's against the transponder.

Aim Solo works great.

I use Race Logic's VBox Lite. Good video, good data acquisition. One thing I don't like about it though is you have to pre-load the track map. It doesn't draw it from the GPS plot. I keep telling them that is stupid. They should at least give you the option of drawing the map from the GPS.
