    T/A stitching color

My new T/A has black stitching on the steering wheel and shifter knob but this pic on #2 has orange. Is this a early production pic? This car is for sale in the Gen 5 section. What are others T/A's like?

    Should be orange.

Enjoy orange accent stitching at nearly every touch-point.

My guess is that they changed something before the car went to production. Don't forget...the T/A was suppose to have a tow hook as well but no production T/A has one.

I could understand that, but on the website, they shouldn't advertise "Enjoy orange accent stitching at nearly every touch-point. and show a pic." Uhhh, the steering wheel and shift knob......touch points?

That's true. I wouldn't advertise the tow hook if you aren't going to include it. So, thanks for Mark Jorgensen I had them install this one before I took delivery.

Yes, BUT, from SRT's feature guide, this is SRT's definition of "touch points".

I realize this isn't Laguna Interior, but just to clarify their definition of "touch points". I think it is quite "odd" to mention "touch points" and not include the steering wheel and shift knob.

It should have had orange stitching. I would have been upset if I ordered one and it didn't. The stitching sets it off

The lack of orange stitching might be an excellent question to ask your dealer...

My guess its one less steering wheel type to keep up with. Just throw on a standard SRT wheel and knob. Otherwise you only have two other options to keep stocked (silver stitching and red stitching). Just my thoughts....

I checked mine, #33 and it also has black stitching on the steering wheel and shift knob.

Sounds like a cost savings omission.

Comparing to the 2014 Porsche 991S configurator:

"Steering Wheel Rim with Deviating Stitching $1,025"

I talked to my sales friend on Sunday and he said he was going to check on it.

I must say that is odd. Yes, I think I'd raise the question on it since the stitching really plays a major role with this car imho.

If you go to Bernies site, and look at the pictures of his in stock TA's....there is black stitching on the wheel and shifter. Must have been a change for sure. Looks to me like the pic of the #2 car is an SRT promo pic, not an actual delivered car.
I agree, the orange stitching set's it off.
