My wife emailed him last week, and he is still formatting. Rather disappointing.

Sorry for the delay! I haven't skipped the country with your money. Originally, I planned to release it back in May, but while I was interviewing some of the original Team Viper members, I unearthed some cool drawings of proposals for earlier generation cars. I thought these would be really interesting to include in the book, so I chose to delay the release so they could send me the hardcopy drawings and I had to digitize them. Unfortunately, this pushed the schedule into NVE, and we held Viper Quarterly until after NVE so we could include it in that issue. Consequently, that pushed two VQ's back to back, so there was no time to work in the book. I'm back to working on the book. Content is finished, but layout takes time. Pagecount wise, it's like 3 magazines. All while continuing to produce VQ. Anyway, working on the layout, and will have a more accurate release date once the files are released to the printer. The books are being printed in China, so it will take some time to ship them back since they go by boat (due to weight.)

Thanks for your patience. Fortunately, this is history, so it's not time sensitive, but if anyone doesn't want to wait for it anymore, I will refund your money. Just email me.

Thanks Maurice for the update and for your dedication to producing this book. I can only imagine how much time it takes to design, layout, proof, etc. I ordered mine back in the beginning as well and I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.

We will wait Maurice! Will be cool to see all the super secret concept photos and preliminary plans for the upcoming GEN VI Viper. You can just tell us that is the REAL reason for the delay, we will understand!
Hopefully you have the GEN V convertible pictures from Ralph at NVE as would be great to see what could have been. Can you include a teaser shot so people get excited. If it is at the printers, then nothing is changing. Thanks Rick
