This thread is sorely lacking the polling option.

Oh, cut it out Janni , I have known you for .....................er.......................dang ........................a few..........years ( now that I did a little math), but it is immaterial as you look the same.
I think wheeling that Viper around since you were a young ingenue has just made you ageless. You still looked 30, to me, when I saw you and Henry in New York . Dang Henry doesn't seem to age
either..................Vipers, the elixir of Youth!! Of course the rumor is Henry has had plastic surgery, but I am mum on that!!

So was it a new Gen 1 at 30?

This thread is suspiciously like the many "I must be the youngest viper owner ever" threads seen on the various sites, except done as a humblebrag poll. Your averages are skewed by older owners not answering, and a few wise cracks.

I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not, but I didn't post this as a means to "brag" about my age or pretend to be the "youngest Viper owner" out there (I'm sure there are younger). The Corvette article had me thinking which made me genuinely curious what the approximate age is for Viper owners. I know these averages are not going to be perfect since not everyone is going to respond and/or give honest answers...I just thought it would be an interesting topic.

Ok. Self reporting isn't going to get you an accurate answer. It will skew to a young age.

I would be interested in knowing who the oldest Viper owner is. I'm sure the oldest Viper racer is Johnny Yuma, ex NASCAR racer who was doing it in his early 80s last time I saw him.

So we were talking about it - we got the car together before we got married. Henry "I had my priorities"...

And Bill - you are right - he does not age - forces me to step up my game.

I DO think that the Viper (and these great Viper folks) help keep you young. (minus a few months of premature aging I suffered.... might need to 'get work done' to counteract THAT!)

It is. Those used to drive me nuts on the other site. Like it was some kind of passive/aggressive bragging. Which is a useless thing to brag about cause I would totally win. Let me look through my passports, one of them must have a birthdate after 2001.

Those tend to be the new car customers, with the higher mile, older cars skewing to younger people. The older ones have no interest in comparing ages. Net worths, maybe.

I've been a car guy & owned car guy cars since I was 16 (first car bought with my own money was a VERY used '65 Corvair Corsa in '87). I got my Viper ('01 GTS) this week; I'm 44.

My 03 had 5,026 when I bought it in March of 2013 and now has 8,912 so I guess I'm an exception to that higher mile cars lol. Jokes aside, I agree. I couldn't buy a new SRT or GTS right now. I'm saving up for a Gen IV, 1996 GTS, and 1992 RT/10. As much as I'd like to get the Gen IV first, I think I'll go after the 96 GTS or 92 RT/10 as they appear to be appreciating in value while the Gen IVs are depreciating in value.
