New DSE Gen IV Catch Can Pics Review

Got my new updated DSE catch can installed on my 2008 ACR and wanted to share a few pics. As everything seems to be that comes from DSE, the quality, fit and finish are all excellent, it looks right at home under the hood. Doug had shared with me some time ago that he would be making this new bracket for the Gen IV cars, which allows him to offer an overall less expensive solution than his first design, utilizing the can from his Gen V kits. Install was very straightforward and looks great with the optional heat-shrink clamps instead of traditional hose clamps. I'm sure Doug will chime in soon if there are any questions.

I also got to take a look at the Gem IV ACR street and track splitter extension pieces, they look very nice and I'll pick up a set of them next just to have a spare set with the car.

Very nice...if this had been available many years ago when I did my catch can, I would have just gone with this one and been done with it. It took me forever to track everything down piece by piece, and still didn't end up looking as clean as this solution.

A catch can should be any Gen 4 Viper's first mod...I don't think I've seen a set of throttle bodies that didn't have the oil slick snail trails on the bottom.
